Max Bromberg

I am a Ph.D. student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Professor Jian Huang in the Systems Platform and Intelligence Lab. I am broadly interested in the intersection of systems, computer architecture, and distributed systems. Currently, my research is centered on AI infrastructure, where I focus on full-stack optimization and hardware-software co-design to improve the efficiency and performance of AI inference.

I graduated from UIUC with my B.S. in Computer Engineering in May 2026. Prior to starting my Ph.D., my undergraduate research explored high-performance storage systems, and I also completed a study abroad program at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
